Yesterday, there was one of Alexia's friends down the street that got attacked by a dog. The dog bit his face, head , and arm. He was staying with one of our neighbors while his mom was out of town and dad was at work. Well, he went to hug the dog and the dog turned on him and tore into his face and wouldn't let go. The lady who was watching him tried to get her dog off of him, but the dog wouldn't let loose. She severed two fingers in the process. They both went into surgery later that day. Please pray for them and their families. It was very traumatic for both families. They need our prayers. Thanks.

Oh thats just so sad and scary! I know most of the time domesticated dogs are gentle, but it just goes to show you just cant trust them 100% of the time. Kids are right at their level and dogs feel threatened, I guess.
I pray for both of those families....oh it makes my heart hurt. Please keep us updated.
That's horrible! One of the worse things about it is the fact that the kid will probably have a huge fear of dogs for the rest of his life. One of our cousins on our dad's side got attacked by a dog when he was young and he has had a fear of them ever since.
I can't imagine what his parents are going through. We'll keep them in our prayers.
